No idea about shares

I've no idea about shares a lot at my office have cashed in but a few are advising me to stick with them don't really want to end up with nothing what are people's thoughts on this

A lot at my office cashed them in thing they got about £2'500' thing they are worth about £3'000 at the present time, I keeping me till October 2018 that's when we can cash them in pay nothing

They're worth roughly £2500 atm before tax. The second wave of shares become conditional on 23/4/17

simple keep them , the shares would have to drop to £3.28 or so to get the same money as those that sold them and paid ni and tax , so why not get the dividends on them till you can sell tax . ni free.

There is no right or wrong answer, everybody is different, if you could use the money now then sell them, if you don't need it then keep them. I can't imagine they will ever be worth nothing and even if they were you won't have lost anything as you didn't pay for them.

SIP 2014 Free Shares were awarded on 9 April 2014
SIP 2015 Free Shares were awarded on 5 October 2015
SIP 2016 Free Shares were awarded on 6 October 2016
