i was asked this today and i couldnt answer. i remember the last couple of times when the goverment tried to push it through that it was voted against, and i particularly remember to my glee, michael hestletines face when his attempt was defeated. but i cant remember if they voted on it this time or if they just took it on themselves to go ahead with it. can someone clued up on it enlighten me. ta.!

I think he meant for the second time. Wasn't the Labour party going to force one last ditch vote in Parliament to stop this.

Ed was caught up in the insults to his family from the The Mail I think. Ironic it's those readers who are likely to lose the most from the future reduced service.
