In the course of the first decade, prices will rise, jobs will go, pay will be cut, pensions obliterated, service destroyed, T&C's smashed, and working conditions will become so horrific it will make our current working lives seem like a dream job.
The only winners will be the shareholders, and senior management who will get huge bonuses, possibly as shares as it is tax efficient, who will get a fortune in dividends, which I think would be increased from the start by the removal of the extra £300m a year or so that RM currently pay on top of the normal contributions to the pension pot, that RM is planning to cut at the first opportunity, thus making an extra £300m profit at the earliest opportunity available.

It's all about profits, and they will increase at any cost. Mainly ours. The remainder will be borne by the public.

If we are floated on the LSE we won't have direct owners as such,we may have major shareholders who may demand a seat on the board but that could be very fluid and may actually be a destabilising influence.

As far as I'm aware the plan is to substitute that loan with a commercial loan in order to pay back the Government,that may save us a bit in interest but it's unlikely to be lifechanging to the business.

I doubt they'll touch Angard workers - why would they get rid of a workforce they can mess around with at will, pay less have less protections and conditions and can all be forced onto zero hour contracts or to take contracts where they sell their rights off for shares.
