The RM lies just go on and on, Just before Christmas the shares were worth around £1500 ,now after the heavy Christmas post ,they are worthless.lie. Wait and watch as they will start to go up again in May June right up to January,then they will start crashing down again.RM say they have told us that just like real shares they can go down as well as up,yes ok,but unlike real shares you can't bail out when you can see they are going to be worthless.RM keep on and on tell everybody the mail is down again,like shite it is,We all knew that when they told offices to stop weighing the mail it would go down straight away,lie.Our health and safety is top of their list,like shite it is,they could not care less about you.The also lied about the pension,they took a 10 year pension holiday,but took all the postmans pension money over that time,can I have it back please as it did not go into my pension.the cwu should go to court and get all that money back for the postman.RM tell us we can be sacked if we delay mail,but its ok if the managers to hold whole rounds in the office,The managers say all RM want is for postman to work all their hours,yer ok,just like our little shite of a manager does,when he goes to all those meetings that don't exist .The only thing postman can do to feel better is take your time,bring mail back.and have as many days off sick as you need to recover from illness..We all know that the top people at RM are making millions for themselves.mail down mail down,its no good going on strike,as we will never make the money back we lose,work to rule,the whole office,tell the public about it,get them all to opt out of door2door.mail down mail down.fracking hell if its down anymore we will be paying RM to come to work.come on Mr Hayes and Mr Ward get off your arses and earn your money.o one last thing thanks cwu for dumping us all in the biggest pile of shite ever. Totally agree m8, were getting drip fed the biggest load of crap ever, excuse after excuse. When will be toothless spinless pec stand up and expose the truth. I'm not calling for a strike but hi light wants really happening to the public and government. Bit by bit our terms and conditions are getting chipped away. Never see so many staff pissed off by how their caring employer is treating them( draw group please take note). RM knew over 18 months ago that the shares would be worthless as thier new agreement took shape.

All the shares money was then re-directed into the modernisation of RM - hence the Bullsh!t story in last months Courior.

As for the CWU, there just a bunch of cowards either paid off by RM or refusing to help anyone, our rep has already said that his job is to 'protect jobs' and 'not the way of working', if you don't like it then there's the door!!

As for any more 'AGREEMENTS' RM & CWU can shove them as i intend to work the way i want to work.

I`d like to read your rant but it`s putting a hurting on my vision

I recently left under IHR and got nothing for my shares, so i wrote to HR and asked what was going on. Their reply received today is that NO share payments have been made to anyone leaving the Post Office after 1st October 2010. Any leavers subsequent to that date may be eligible for a pay-out dependent on their circumstances and the re-evaluation of the Shares. The PO claim that the share scheme is re-valued every 6 months, the last time being September 2010. HR are awaiting confirmation of the new share value and subsequent authorisation to make payment. They have no timescale as to when confirmation or authority may be given.

I think the PO are on sticky ground legally as they have witheld payments without any explanation and in breach of their own rules. Their own rules relating to share buy-back that were in force on the day of leaving are what should have been applied, not something they made up 6 months later. The PO may well be able to set the value of the shares but based upon what? They can't possibly justify or defend keeping the share value secret for 6 months until such time as they decide to reveal it for their own purposes (if indeed they did review it in Sept '10 which i very much doubt). Share prices don't drop from £1400 down to zero overnight, they will have a hard job convincing anyone that they aren't simply fiddling the books and back-tracking on their own rules (nothing new there then eh!?).

Its not so much the share value thats the issue afterall share prices do drop, its more the arbitary cut-off date, the secrecy and the retro-application of the "new" values thats the problem. Leave on 30/9, £1400 - leave 24hrs later on 1/10, bugger-all and not informed about why until 6 months later. Thats at best unfair practice, at worst fraudulent and discriminatory.
