Lord Mandelson was urged to delay his plans for a part-privatisation of the Royal Mail after a Labour group claimed that it would be an error to sell the stake at the bottom of the market.
Compass, which is backed by scores of Labour MPs, said the sale of 49 per cent of the state-owned postal operator would raise £1bn - barely half the £1.9bn it could have fetched a year ago.

£1bn for Royal Mail
I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

After Broon did so well in the selling of Gold when it was at it's lowest price maybe he intends to delay until some business offers a book of stamps for RM

I can hardly see Broon lasting the summer, he's just got another kicking over the second home allowence so I expect Labour MPs to start a leadership challange soon.Broxi51 wrote:After Broon did so well in the selling of Gold when it was at it's lowest price maybe he intends to delay until some business offers a book of stamps for RM

Re: £1bn for Royal Mail
Delay is because we (RM) need to find a way of getting this one billion pounds to managers bonuses, making more managers to do your work when you strike or play hard ball, increasing our wages bonuses or finding a way to pay it into our pensions that just happens to come out of the same pot that postmans does although your overtime and bonuses dont count like ours do. Trust me on this but by the time we have done it the mail will have fallen by 10% LOL, you will work an hour a day overtime that you dont get holiday, pension or sick pay on just to pay your bills but we will still blame you lot for not modernising quick enough and need to sack even more of you scum because we know you are led by pigs that care more about their own trotters in the trough than they ever do about you poxy OPGs so just get with the modernisation program of RM and lie down so we can all be happy and we make the good life whilst you lot? Oh f**k it who cares about you anyway just do your worst we are ready for you.
