The enemy at the gate. The walls are crumbling. The Tories are 10 points ahead. The Morale is low.

What a good time for taking on the trade unions. The MPs who object to privatisation and the basic interests of the Party. And with Tory support.

The Lad's still playing the New Labour games in a world that's totally changed and the new game is recession busting.

Why can't Mandy's office redecoration be done on a PFI? And shouldn't he have the right to buy when it's done?

When you run a competition for one third control of an organisation (as if Tesco got one third control of Sainsbury) in whose interest is the competitor going to use its influence?

Why is Royal Mail in a mess a) because the Tories f****d up the pension scheme with a pensions holiday b) because both parties took the profits when Mail made them rather than using them to invest c) because Postcom run by free market fanatics like Hooper let competition skim off the cream in city deliveries and made RM do the unprofitable last mile home.

:Applause Well said Austin, get stuck into the free marketeers.
The more you know, the worse it gets.

I remember Austin when he was a presenter with local tv news program Calendar. He was always the most interesting, passionate and well-liked presenter then, and he's not changed since becoming a MP.
Just spilt stain-remover down my shirt. Now how do I get that out?
