[attachment=1]I see she obviously toed the Party Line this time instead of jostling for leadership when questioned on the absurdity of Royal Mail Privatization .

Dave Snooty would be obviously on compassionate leave and the One Eyed Scottish Idiot is away in America , so William Hague has took time out from drinking pints of beer to give Harriet a hard time .

Well this is strange!

Ann Winterton (Con, Congleton)
said Royal Mail part-privatisation was being forced by European Union legislation. She suggested that the European law had "forced the Royal Mail to divest itself of its most profitable business" and had "handed it over lock, stock and barrel" to European competitors. She queried: "What sense is that?"

But Harman said the "real reason" for the plans was the need to overhaul the business and make it more competitive in the future, as outlined in the Hooper report. She added that pensions liabilities also have to be met, the regulatory system changed and universal delivery maintained.
I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

The real reason is this NEW LABOUR GOVENMENT had thrown it's arms around Paris and Europe even before it had too and it thought it would give royalmail a competitive advantage which it did not and only quickened its demise too the low end of postal markets IE THE LAST MILE!. NEW LABOUR JUMPED THE GUN NOW WE WILL ALL TAKE THE HIT FOR THEM!.

The Tory Back Bencher is following the party line with an eye on the forthcoming elections and promoting Eurosceptism , it's hypocritical as " Team Cameron " thanks to :mfo would love to have a 49 % sell off and it was a Dutch Freemarketeer and former EEC Commissioner issued the original EEC directive , the same old 80's " solutions " that have worked so well with the utilities and railways AND conveniently forgetting to ring fence the USO , the other problem was the Blairites fudged intrepretation of the Directive as B- Liar & Mandy wanted complete privatization .

:mfo is looking for some way of wriggling out of the hole , New Labour backed theirselves into with the disastrous Postal Services 2001 Act . :hmmmm ,DTI Minister Byers appointing :lfo & :cfo worked well didn't it , that's why :mfo is trying to slur the Union , and Gormless Billy is such a Labourite - " All this money for handwringing " :left:
