letter dated 8th April

Post by posted »

So just received the letter dated 8th April, basically summarising the unconditional date (30t April) including a booklet with FAQs.

Now back in July last year I had already decided to accept the offer for all my shares.

This letter however states that
as of 21st March 2025, you had not instructed the Trustee to accept the Offer...
Just called Equiniti and they confirmed I have accepted the offer and that they know a mistake has been made with a lot of names appearing on their mailing list that had already accepted the offer.

I just had the same issue.Got the letter today and put the passwords in and it didn't accept them, so i had to ring them up. Turned out i was on the wrong page. Had to give the guy my NI number, name, address and date of birth. Then he directed me to the correct page. I said i've already accepted the offer ages ago. He said yes i accepted it in June last year so there was no need to complete it. What a shambles.

Same here, already accepted but letter arrived asking me to vote again. Could this delay the takeover if people have been found to have voted twice?

Got the letter yesterday saying the same thing. Took me a couple of hours of cocking about to actually get on the site. I was 99% sure I’d already done this last year but thought maybe I hadn’t voted on the different shareholdings I have (I purchased extra through pay after being given the free ones). Anyway finally sorted it all out only to get an email an hour later saying I shouldn’t have received the letter in the first place!!!!
