Anyone know why I've received a cheque for my shares today when I haven't agreed to sell them??

Because they had over 90% acceptance which gave them the right to buy any outstanding shares whether the owners wanted to sell or not.

Edit, I've just read that you left 18 months ago, so no real reason to log in.

I am well out the loop these days having not been on here for 18mths or so but I did wonder why I got the cheque so having had loads of good advice and information in the past on here I decided to ask the question hence me logging back in!

Cheque was a surprise but not sure I wanted it!!

Has anyone else had a cheque or had money paid into there account?
Quite a few in my office didn't sell them we got told they were being compulsory bought so we had no choice they were sold.

No one in my office has got anything yet but we were told money would be paid july-aug
