Nice one woof :Very Happy

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

These forms are s**t!
How do they expect you to air all your grievances in such a small space?
Maybe they think that you only have minor grievances :hmmmm or maybe it's just that their managers can only handle a few sentences at a time? :hmmmm
I ALWAYS send a letter and head it Grievance whatever stage at the top. :dance
Royal Mail managers.....about as popular as a t.urd in a swimming pool!
The DDA/Equality Act demands action,NOT words......adjustments NOT Occupational Health referrals.Case No:2505901/09

Line Manager, DOM and DSM --- and onward up the food chain. Its dependant on the nature of the greviance and if they have authority to deal with it.

A general greviance may go to the Line Manager or DOM, but a greviance against a manager can't be investigated by the manager themselves, if must be passed up the food chain or a high greviance raised.

Officialy stage one to the manager involved, stage 2 then 3 if you don't agree with the outcome.

However, some people have successfully gone to stage 2 to go over the offending managers head.

Speak to the local rep and get their advice as they will know the local picture.
