How to phone your DO using a PDA

For future reference...

The PDA device has a phone which can be used to make calls
to the Emergency Services (999), IT Helpdesk, PDA Directory
Site or the RAC Breakdown services. You can use the telephone
option even if you are not logged on to the PDA, but you MUST
know your 6 figure site ID before calling (this is on the PDA login
screen).

1. Press the SEND button on the PDAs keypad
2. Click CONTACTS from the menu at the bottom of the screen
3. Click PDA SITE DIRECTORY
4. Click CALL WORK
5. Listen to options (1-5) and select appropriate option using the
PDA KEYPAD (this example 1)
6. Enter the site ID number using the PDA KEYPAD then #
(this example 0303#). Your call will be automatically routed to
your chosen option
7. End call by clicking END CALL on the screen
8. Click on the ‘X’ button in the top right corner to continue with
you duty

As with all things Fish this is not quite correct
Between 4 & 5 above you must enable speaker to listen to the options (picture 5 ) speaker on/ off...

.... and the series of photos didn't show that, by the time you have done all that - the battery level has dropped to 3%

I'm thankful for this as our managers have always maintained that the PDA won't ring the office but I tested it and it did.
