Hi,
Hoping someone will be able to give me answer here.
How long are you aloud to work with out a break ?
If you take the whole break at the end of shift is this ok ?

Never heard this. Govt website says:
Employers can say when employees take rest breaks during work time as long as:

the break is taken in one go somewhere in the middle of the day (not at the beginning or end)
and Way Forward Agreement 2000 states that:
.....

The actual pattern of breaks within these rules will be agreed locally.
If your local rep has agreed this to become a blanket rule for all (based on the WFA statement), I would seriously query this.
Just because, to quote your post, '....you can go...' doesn't mean you '...have to go....' (for five hours without a break).

For a lot of P/T'ers not having a break until 5 hours after start work could be towards the end of their working hours!!

And in our area our managers actually insist that the full break is NOT taken at the end and will not pay for a full break
booked at the end of the day if it's on OT!

No!
Meal breaks attendance length.

Gis more info on your problem, what hrs you're working, why aren't the breaks set out on the duty anyway ect.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
