Use of personal stereo headphones whilst sorting on conveyor

I have read the risk assesments for conveyor belt sortation and it quite clearly forbids the use of personal stereo's & modifications to the conveyor belt.

At my MC many people claim to be allowed to use personal stereo headphones whilst conveyor sorting & also modify the conveyor belt using cardboard from cardboard sleeved yorks.

Managers seem to turn a blind eye to this despite me raising concerns on multiple occasions.

Is there a Royal Mail health & safety hotline i can ring to report this to a higher level before someone gets seriously hurt?

There are people totally oblivious to others on the conveyors because of listening to "podcasts"

if a colleague gets trapped by the conveyor belt they would have to tug one of their earpieces out & say "eh..what?" etc etc

I really want this enforced as it is safety critical.
