After a dozen years of being soaked/frozen, due to our incompetent Storm jackets, I'm buying a cheapo fleece-lined Parka and gonna wear the hi-viz tabard over it, in the day
I'm also looking for an orange LIGHTWEIGHT jacket, the same BSI Standard as our famous Storms, but just for safety in dark mornings/evenings.
From what I can see, the H + S part of it deals with the Reflective stripes, and their position on the arms/body.
So, if I can replicate this, then surely, I'd be ok? And RM can't complain?
We're given a lightweigh Red windproof, that DOESN'T have the reflective stripes x 2 on the arms, so even with a Hi Viz tabard, they COULD say, that we weren't wearing the appropriate clothing in twilight, EVEN THOUGH they were issued to us by them!
Any comments or thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks...
