ssow for delivering mail/packets in the dark??

Are there any?
Last night trying to find house numbers in the dark was a giggle
Had to return 3/4 York of packets
Had told lino I would probably not manage them all

But although I'm on backshift and actually quite happy to do it as it means I'll be doing zero dockett during pressure
I would love to know how on earth we are meant to see house numbers and street names when Mr sun is in bed.

Torchwise I took one look at the stuff RM have and took my own led lenser and commandeered a head torch from the yard.
Considering billing RM for the use of my torch or leaving it at home until supplied a dcent one.

Any ssow of work exist for this type of work?
Or is it dynamic risk assessment every time?
