All,
This is my first post, as well as being one of RM's finest member of staff, In my spare time I occasionally am a Special Constable In London, I thought I would bring yourselves to the attention of this video which highlights the danger of dogs not to just Posties, But the Police. I do believe the CWU had a little input on this by saying that members of the police are not protected should an incident happen. The government really need to do something about this! :dcfo

Welcome to RMC and indeed to the health and safety forum.
Isn't it a pity that Scotland Yard didn't see fit to pass on the intel though.
Scotland Yard admitted it failed to pick up on intelligence that the "pit bull-type" animal lived at the property in Albert Square in Newham before they stormed the address.

Indeed, and any dog is likely to act in such an aggressive way after having the front door of its home battered in without warning.brothermagrew wrote:Welcome to RMC and indeed to the health and safety forum.

And how is it that four police officers evidently aren't doing much while one's being attacked ?

Re: Dog Attack Video
Funny though, If a postie was attacked by a dog, and defended themselfs by using force against the animal - The RSPCA would be looking to prosicute the postie for animal abuse.
Worse still, RM management wouldn't back the postie
