RSI Action AGM and Open Meeting - Sat 26th Nov, London, 13:00 to 16:30, Room 3D, (3rd Floor), ULU

RSI Action hold their 5th AGM on Saturday 26th November, at the University of London Union building (ULU), Malet Street, London, WC1E 7HY. Registration from 12:30, for the AGM from 13:00 to 16:30.
All are welcome.

The guest speaker this year is Richmond M. Stace MCSP MSc (Pain) BSc (Hons), Specialist Pain Physiotherapist. Richmond is a physiotherapist, with a background in pain science and rehabilitation, he specialises in pain http://www.specialistpainphysio.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;. Using some of the very latest techniques to treat painful conditions, acute and chronic. He sees RSI sufferers and provides a treatment programme that targets the body and the brain.

RSI Action is developing a new strategic direction and is looking for trustees, advisers and volunteers to help build a better future for people with RSI. Can you offer your skills in areas such as clinical expertise, case law experience, fundraising and membership development, policy and campaigns, publications, copy writing, design, or another field? RSI Action has recognised it has significant tasks ahead, and will develop projects and activities to
address them and will aim:-
• to raise awareness of RSI conditions and the consequences
• to significantly reduce RSI risks in the workplace
• to significantly reduce RSI risks for students, and in the home
• to ensure that society understands the physical, social and economic problems resulting from RSI
Objects are:
• To facilitate the prevention of the conditions known collectively as Repetitive Strain Injuries (RSI) in
the UK.
• To facilitate the relief of sickness, hardship and distress amongst those suffering within the UK from
RSI conditions.
