...to cut a long story short no real changes appear to be on the horizon during this parliament!
Instead of putting into place even a short term amendment to the current legislation in order to encompass private property, there was a suggestion that they deem the dog problem more of an antisocial issue.
A problem owner is not an antisocial one or one who owns a particular breed it is one who is too weak to exhibit the behaviour expected of them by that animal. The most responsible act an owner can do is to take on the 24/7 role of the pack leader and allow their dog to be a happy follower, (in the majority of cases the elder generations and couples without children are where the problem lies not the chavs on council estates).
