Dodgy feet, ankles and knees

Post by Post Off »

Did you know that there is a trainer (shoe) out there that can help with all manner of leg related problems..?

They're called 'Shape Ups' from Sketchers. They're miraculously good for flat feet, very good for bone bruising, quite good for dodgy ankles and supposedly good for dodgy knees too. The funny thing is, they started out as a way of exercising while you walked, kind of thing. But of course, they're much more than that, and thank God too. :Very Happy

For things like Plantar Fasciitis, I have seen some interesting things said about 'Flitflops'. Although they are more sandal-like, you can get them in shoe-form. They are a bit cheaper (I think?) than the Shape Ups, and possibly more hard-wearing, too. :Very Happy

Bone-bruising (plus a leg ulcer) is what I've got, and these Shape Ups have been nothing more than miraculous -- in the pain department, that is. If you can get these Shape Ups try to also get some form of heal support from, say these peeps...

I haven't tried them meself personally, but they do sell those 'Flitflops' that I was going on about above to do with Plantar Fasciitis.

Incidentally, I'm on my 2nd pair of Shape Ups, and although they're the 'XT' variety, I can confirm that I no longer need the use of any podiatry-enabled heal support to aid me further in my recovery. :Very Happy :cool

The only problem that I have encountered with the wearing of 'Shape Ups' from Sketchers is that they can be quite painful around the calf muscles, especially more so if you've got any hilly roads to push trolley up or carry heavy weights up.

For bone-bruising, flat feet and dodgy knees, I'd say (from my experience) that most of your pain will go away, and soon. :Very Happy

You could get a letter from your doctor.

I know for a fact that they work, mostly because I had someone else personally thanking me everyday (at first) for the pain they now don't have. He has flat feet and dodgy ankles. I had bone-bruising. Before I tried them, I couldn't stand for longer than a couple of hours. Now I'm back on a regular walk.

My pain took a whiles to gradually go away -- about 10 weeks upwards, while this other fellow's pain went almost immediately. Admittedly, you won't be 100% clear of any pain, but the transformation from his and my perspective have been nothing short of... Miraculous! :angel

I'm currently wearing the 'XT' version. I'm not keen on them to be honest, but I've not been able to get hold of another pair of 'Sketchers Men's Shape-Ups Trainer', and even though these trainer-style 'Shape Ups' were cr*p, build-wise for the amount of money -- £90, they're still worth it, to me. But hey, who cares! All my pain has practically gone.

Having said that, I still intend on getting me a couple o more pairs. :Very Happy
