The new online method of logging significant hazards is called the Walk Risk Assessment
Platform (WRAP). WRAP supports our people by logging hazards in a standard way, and allows
postmen and women to take out a mini hazard card on their walk to ensure safe delivery
to customers.
The two main changes are the introduction of the online Walk Risk Assessment Platform (WRAP),
and the new Hazard Card Holder to note down risks. In addition we’ve combined Workplace
Questionnaires (WPQ) 1 and 2.
The new walk risk process requires all of the team to highlight and report hazards that they see
out on their walks, and on a regular basis.
It’s of vital importance that we respond to our Royal Mail Letters Health and Safety Policy, which
sets out the responsibilities of staff taking care of themselves and others.
