Working Time Regulations

Post by brothermagrew »

It just goes to show that the old saying you learn something new every day still holds true.

In other words, I wasn't aware that the HSE does not enforce the rest and leave requirements in regulations 10, 11, 12, and 13 (e.g. 11 hours between each working day, and a whole day off a week, and a rest break if working more than 6 hours in a day, and 28 days annual leave in each leave year) - and they should not seek to do so. However, they can bring these requirements to the attention of the employer and the workers, so they are aware of what the law provides.
