Whats wrong with my foot?

Post by Stormproof »

Were'nt sure where to post this......
For the past couple of weeks part of my foot has been hurting, its bruised and a bit swollen on the top of my foot just past the joint on my big toe. I have'nt dropped anything on it or kicked anything so what could it be? Anyone else had similar symptoms?
So keep on moving, moving, moving your feet
Keep on shuf-shuf-shuffling to this ghost dance beat
Just keep on walking down never ending streets

Maybe it's the phantom pains for what you would have got, if you actually had planted your foot in your lineo's ringer.....rather than just thinking about it, as you ground your teeth and turned away.

Not very helpful - hopefully someone with a better idea comes along soon ( or see your GP, if you ever have time off when he's open ) BTW, I suffer from something similar, especially in the onset of cold weather - but that started after I binned my VF1000  then went back to work before it healed :d'oh!
I don't suppose your mouth bleeds every 28 days, does it?

It's all that running for the bus, or has the conductor stood on your foot ? :chuckle :chuckle

Had a search for some info and one website mentioned it could be down to footwear. My CAT shoes are well worn and virtually no grip on the bottom to protect the foot, it might be down to that and walking on uneven stoney paths. Got to go to the Drs this week anyway as I'm going to try and give up the cigs so will get him to have a look.
Pinky I don't do running, ever :angel

Ive e-mailed Bob Taylor several times with regard to the footwear not being suitable for our job but he dosn't take any notice. Why can't we have proper walking boots, they are designed to protect and cushion the foot plus not wear out your joints. All three makes we have now are not for walking. :mad

Went out yesterday and spent £45 on a pair of asics trainers. They have a built in gel system that spreads the weight of impacts. Think they are designed for cross country running, ideal for our job then :whistle
Off to the Drs this week so will ask for some sort of paper work to say I can't wear RM footwear anymore.
