we have had Walk Sequencing for a while now and all we get are people moaning regarding it hurts my neck ,shoulders or back
has this never been risk assessed for Repetitive strain injury

prep we have some that have to stand on trays to do the top row off the frame and the manager wont soft them

These people who have to stand on trays, they aren't using the very top of the frame to prep letters into are they? The top of the frame should be packets only. We have a few very short people (under 5ft) in our office and they don't need to stand on anything to prep the top (4th one up) line.

The trays aren't stable, or strong enough for that purpose. It's an accident waiting to happen!

Although I am not yet familiar with these machines Royal Mail must have a risk assessment and safe system of working in place under the Management of Health & Safety Regulations 1999.
Standing on trays is not acceptable as this is clearly a unsafe practice.
Talk to your Area Safety Representative.
