some good ;points on there

Consider scheduling work to minimise exposure

Site water points and rest areas in the shade.

Encourage workers to use sunscreen of at least Sun Protection Factor 15 (is it free)

Encourage workers to take their breaks in the shade, if possible, rather than staying out in the sun.

 If you can, go to your G.P,and get appropriate advice/treatment--it helps if it is on your medical records.
I personally always keep covered up, but even with long sleeves, and sunblock,I can still get burned. but insist on it being recorded--if not in the accident book, get your ?H/S rep to perhaps keep a note of all reports of sunburn.
If you went out and slipped on ice in the winter and injured yourself, you would have some comeback,a ''thermal injury'
(yes that's the new terminolgy) should be no different.

30 years ago people were told asbestos wouldn't harm them.
I'd make sure your sunburn is documented. it might not be regarded as important now,
but if you do develop skin cancer a few years on, at least you might get some compensation.
Though that might not make you feel better about it.
RM really should have thought through the H&S consequences of later starts in the summer.
