jobs for the boys mate, thats wot it sounds like, we are having a similar problem up here, north o the border, its being made difficult for some reason, for us to replace our office rep.Spanners everywhere, its like a mechanics toolbox!
Those above are keeping the rep hanging on by their finger tips.
Its jobs for the boys, simple as.
Ive always said it, the higher up the union snakes and ladder board you go, the more chance you have of siding/agreeing with the way a manager wishes to run the office.

Re: Ballots
The boy in my office is new to H&S and we know the rep who he complained about he has done more for us than his ASR and also he is not a manger push over as he cares for us postal staff and has made a few changes for the better, is it because he stood against his ASR that he has been singled out? my relative works in Pembroke and he has only seen the Deputy Rep since he started work for RM 8 years ago? I wont give my name or the people involved to avoid reprocussions.shimmyrule wrote:jobs for the boys mate, thats wot it sounds like, we are having a similar problem up here, north o the border, its being made difficult for some reason, for us to replace our office rep.Spanners everywhere, its like a mechanics toolbox!

Has anyone read 'Animal Farm'? Th union is precisely that. Starts off as 'for the people, by the people'. Then before you know the hierachy starts, then the infighting & scullduggery. It is the same as the RM manager structure, except in this case the workers blinding pay towards the CWU.
