This has been issued following an accident where one of our drivers collided with a swing gate that had blown into his path.
When delivering to an industrial estate, the swing barrier blew across the road striking the Royal Mail hire vehicle.
The barrier smashed through the windscreen striking and injuring the driver who was later taken to hospital with facial injuries. In the past, we have had more serious injuries occur due to collisions with swing barriers/gates.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
