From A Twitter account:
"Watch your pension is safe ! Sunak announces deregulation of UK pension funds to allow riskier investment in dodgy high tech projects with riskier returns ! Big gamble no precious chancellor has ever tried no matter how desperate !"
I have no idea if this is true.
Any thoughts?

Didn't hear nothing about pensions, was also not mentioned in the summary on ITV, Google is your friend, not some 'possible' twat on social media.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

The only mention of pensions I can find is a freeze on the pensions lifetime allowance, as far as financial deregulation including pensions I think most analysts are expecting that in one form or another post-Brexit but I don't think it's part of the budget statement.

This proposal potentially enables them to invest directly into new or existing businesses.
They put a chunk of money in upfront, in return for a slice of the profits in future.
