Still struggling to see how this fits into the equation! For State pensions after 2016 they keep mentioning 60 for women & 65 for men. Does that mean you get extra pension at those ages (unlikely) or your index linking increase drops after that age? As on my pension increase letter earlier this year for the RMSPS it saids If your pension has a GMP element you will only receive part of the increase. But the whole of my NRA 60 went up. I am 62 so does that change when I hit 65? Getting less of the increase as I have read that pensions from 1988 to 1997 is shown as CPI capped at 3% And after 1998 its RPI capped at 5%. I have read also that the Government is going to look at it again in 2021. Though that might not happened given everything that is happening! They do keep saying its complicated which I would agree!
