Just to let you know that the RPI figures for next years pension increase will be released on 21st October.

Very unlikely to be much this year. 0.4% - 0.7% roughly based on August figures....

Yeah, can’t see pensions moving up much for awhile. I think we are in a low inflationary environment, you can guarantee that you council tax will go up though!

Savings are rubbish as well! My Income Bond from NS&I is currently 1.16% dropping to 0.01% in November! Obviously the government just wants us to spend spend spend and not save!

Probably better sticking it in your pension and, or your S&S ISA. At least you'll be better off later. The way things are, interest rates will still be poor in 10 years or so.
