As the title says, the RMPP website has had a re-vamp!

So pension statements first two weeks of October if still contributing or mid October if not. Hope they are worth it!

Just had a look and it’s much better. Watched a couple of the videos and they explain things in simple language.

It's still a bit misleading as it suggests that the Section C final salary will be based on your current pay you retire. But that link was removed in April 2018 and would be thereafter increased by .RPI up to 5%. Only Section B is still linked to actual current pay.

Not quite the case......if you are still in the "job family" promotional increases flow through too.

What they don't tell you in the video is that registering to use the portal doesn't actually work. FFS

The link to actual pay was removed in April 2014. It applies to section B aswell!

As Freespeech says, promotional pay rises do increase your pensionable pay, although there are exceptions.

See your 2014 booklet for more info.

The RMSPS website does enable you to login to see the value of your pre 2012 benefits, which personally I've never had any problems with.

That's the one I'm trying to use. Can't register even though I've followed the instructions to the letter.

I still have a disparity with mine.....if I add the final salary value to four years of CSDB (ie up to 2012) mine is quite a bit out. Oddly if I add my calculations together for what I think is Capita and PSC they do come out to the same as my statement so I'm hoping it's just the "mix" I have wrong. Never waited for two pension statements so eagerly as I am this year!

At the risk of answering my own question I think I may have solved it......the revamped website advises that PSC are responsible for some of the bits of the final salary scheme like promotional increases etc. I reckon my Capita statement will be below what think it is and the PSC one above but overall they will give me what I have calculated. The error is in the way my final salary has grown since the plan ceased and the incorrect assumption that this would all be paid by Capita. I guess the two statements will tell!

I have been trying to register all evening without any luck
