Posted application form for pensions last week.
Had it for a while and the date benefits payable from on the letter had been and gone.
Received a reply today saying the "date benefits payable from has been revised to 23rd June.
Perhaps they're processing mine before some others because the date has passed whereas others may have a date some months on advance?
In any event I was wondering, is that date of 23rd June at all likely? Going on what we read on here 8 weeks seems unlikely!
I applied now because I assumed with the virus issue ongoing not to mention capitas reputation, I might be lucky to get it before Christmas!

Why did you have it a while and not respond sooner? Notwithstanding the incompetence of Capita, it appears you have contributed to the delay for reasons best known to yourself !

At bottom of timeline form it clearly states ‘This timeline assumes that you return all forms within 10 working days of them being issued. If you return them later, your retirement timeline will change’

I'm not complaining about the revised date, far from it!
I got the quote as some people do, to see what it is rather than any particular date but you have to put one down of course so just put my birthday.
Just saying I was surprised that it can be done in 8 weeks given the problems people are having on here plus the virus crisis.
We will see..

My NRA60 clock is currently running at 23 weeks and still not had any payment dates from Capita yet for the RMSPS lump sum & pension.
I got my RMPP lump sum last week all £725 of it which includes £400 of DBCBS money and will get the massive £9 per month pension at the end of April. After tax I may just be able to afford a Tesco meal deal once a month. Not much after 41 years service. :left:

Crikey that sounds low, £400 for DBCBS? Surely you've been paying into that for the last 2 years?
Also I thought lump sums and more particularly monthly pension, had to all be paid at the same time?
Sure I read that in the paperwork somewhere..

My overall cash balance fund will be worth about £11K to March 2020. It is there mainly to fund the 65 lump sum. I wasn't expecting to receive any of this cash at 60 but the option was there so I took it. The RMSPS and the RMPP are 2 different schemes now but you can't take one at NRA without taking the other. I think this is what you are thinking about possibly?

That is a very small proportion of your cash balance scheme and most of it is used for NRA65.
