Since reaching my 50s I've been getting letters from various "pension companies" offering to enhance or unlock my pension if I sign up to them, in nice glossy shiney booklets with wonderful facts, figures and beautiful photos of a future of bliss and utopia in your old age.
They went straight through the shredder, I don't believe a word of it and don't trust it one bit, they're only after your money....
What concerns me is how they managed to get my details and post crap to me.
Don't fall for it.

I know of an ex girlfriend of mine who fell for one of these pension scams. She thought she was investing in some kind of hotel complex in the Dominican Republic and was supposed to be getting double digit returns on her money each year.
She had a couple of nice holidays there, but ended up losing most of her money.
If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is!
