Up to October 2010 AVC's were invested via a number of different providers. Funds held with some of those providers were then automatically transferred over to Zurich. The providers affected were:

Aviva(formerly Norwich Union) – unit linked fund.
Legal & General.
Santander(formerly Abbey National).
Standard Life – unit linked fund.

Anyone who had funds invested via 'with profits' funds weren't transferred unless you asked them to be. Those were:

Aviva.
Equitable Life.
Standard Life.
