I have the option to transfer to the DBCB transition scheme having been in the RMDCP for just over 5 years.
I asked this question previously; Can/Will the contributions (from DC) be transferred into the CDC scheme?
Robert T replied; "The CDC scheme proposals would suggest it will be a DB scheme and so probably incompatible with transfers from the DC scheme"
I would like to know, if i opted to transfer into the DBCB transition scheme, would the contributions transfer to the CDC scheme if/when it supersedes DBCB?
Also will the RMDCP close if the CDC scheme becomes a reality?

Contribution transfer CBDB to CDC
The way I understand it, is that they will be two separate schemes and transfers won’t be allowed.rogersh wrote:I would like to know, if i opted to transfer into the CBDB transition scheme, would the contributions transfer to the CDC scheme if/when it supersedes CBDB?
That seems to be the case. Also will the RMDCP close if the CDC scheme becomes a reality?
No-one on these forums has been given more info than anyone else, so until we’ve been given full details from RM, these questions can’t be answered with any degree of certainty.

Contribution transfer DBCB to CDC
Cheers Robert.
I have edited my post to read DBCB as I got the acronym confused..... not surprising. There are more questions than answers & the more i find out the less I know as johnny Nash sang.
But you have swayed me to go into the transition scheme if the DC scheme is eventually going to close. i will await more detail.
