VOTE OF NO CONFIDENCE IN TRUSTEE OF PENSION

Post by k979aaa »

I would like to table a motion of no confidence in the Chair of trustee of the Royal Mail Pension Plan reasons for 1 Does not have the interests of the membership as a primary consideration 2 How can a pension fund only not even 9 years old be unaffordable so soon? 3 If the likes of Joanna Matthews cannot hold Moya Greene and her ilk to account I have no confidence in her or her team for managing my future or that of anyone's in this pension fund!

I see the Church of England's investment management fund have earned a 17% return during the last 12 months perhaps our pension fund should be following the COE's portfolio :Applause

But that is with god on their side whilst we a ruled buy the devils hand for her own ends and Moya Greene probably don't do church as the confession box would be permanently occupied by her if she had a soul that is!

Even I am beating the investment return of the RM pension. It needs people like me and a few others to invest in the right places. Sadly that just wont happen.

The CWU has representatives within the Trustees. Contact them and see what they say
There are nine directors on the Board. One is an independent Chair appointed by Royal Mail, but with union agreement, and four are nominated by the membership (three through a CWU process and one through a Unite/CMA process). The remaining four are nominated by Royal Mail, of whom two are independent trustees, and one is chosen by Post Office.

If they had our interests at heart then they would have rejected royal mails proposal as the pension surplus has increased and not declined as royal mail predicted as well as a 25% increase in company profits.
A vote of no confidence from me :thumbdown

Its probably even worse as the Unit/CMA grade trustee will be a manager level rep. Now what Manager is going to go against Moya, even as a full-time release rep it would be career suicide.
