Hi,
I left Royal Mail in 1994 with 8 years service and have a preserved pension under
Section B.
I am now 56 and wish to take my pension early and I'm aware of the the 5% reduction per year
if taking before NRA 60.
I sent the letter last week requesting early payment.
Does anyone know how long it would nornally take from requesting the early
pension to it actually going into payment?
I assume they will first of all send me details of the actual pension due and a payment
authority for bank details, that I would then return if I was happy to proceed.
Any help appreciated.
