Buy Downs : Putting the cash into your pension instead?
My mate at work has taken a buy down from 39 to 23 hours.He was offered either 17,000 cash or 19,000 into his pension.He took the cash but does anyone know anything about them putting into your pension instead?

Never heard of money being put into the pension itself. Tbh for me it would be a no brainer. Boosting your pension would be my choice. yeah similar to me 18,000 or 20, 000 in pension, i took the money, not sure if it will be the right choice or not in the long run but you can always boost your pension with AVC's
