Unrequested begging letters

Post by red666bear »

Hi, anyone else fed up with unrequested paraphenalia whenever the pensions service centre write to us,
in the annual statement issued twice due to these peoples incompetence was a begging letter from the Rowland hill fund.
Just received the pointless publication Pensions news and inside it countless reminders about a have your say survey and another begging letter this time from the British postal museum.

How do these people in Chesterfield win awards? They cant get our benefit illustrations correct first time and bombard us with unrelated literature we havent requested.

Rowland Hill is a charity for Postal Workers so its entirely appropriate in my opinion to make people aware of it via pension letters. Also the Postal Museum is a registered charity and therefore again in my opinion entirely appropriate.

Just as residents do with d2Ds and "begging letters" we deliver if you're interested they are appropriate, if you're not they are a pain, but all you have to do is bin them.

Messages about the Rowland hill fund appear on our wage slips every 4 weeks or so.
Royal mail have myroyalmail.com, courier newspaper, courier specials, courier newsflash, WTLL to get their message across and this type of approach is aggressive and unnecessary.

I tend to agree with you there, because in my experience they are totally ill informed about pensions and have made a few mistakes with mine over the years. But they are currently asking us to tells us our views, maybe you should tell them yours: http://www.myroyalmail.com/news/2014/11 ... -%C2%A3500" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Aggressive & unnecessary? Just a bit over the top I think.

I don't know what adjectives he'd use for RMC we have 110 individual posts about the Rowland Hill Fund, and 213 on the Postal Museum. :Very Happy

Unrequested letters, are whats keeping you a job. If you relied on social mail the RM workforce would be a quarter of the size it is.
