IHR back to work

Hi all
I was given IHR in 2003 due to having Crohn's disease and at the time I was totally unable to work ( as an Account Manager) or do anything else.
It has now been 11 years and my Crohns is a lot better and I would like to do a few hours paid employment a week. My question is, is this ok as I would not want to have my pension stopped. I have spoken to RM Pensions and they have stated that I can return to work as long as it's not RM or any other their companies, they even sent me a letter stating I could work for another organisation and I would still receive my pension.
I have heard a couple of horror stories where individuals have gone back to work and have had their pensions stopped, I'm very confused at the moment as I would like to do something.

Whether someone can return to work after taking IHR will depend on the rules of their pension scheme. If I were you, I'd write to the trustees of the RM pension scheme rather than just the service centre and get it confirmed by them.

Nothing stopping you working the day after you were medically retired unless the RM
Could prove you committed fraud in receiving your pension .
