It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Re: freezing my pension
Well the total amount you will receive each week/month will be reduced by you not paying in. Also as its under £20 per week you pay in and RM pay more I don't see the logic, you''d be better off in the long run by staying in and still paying in.milesy wrote:does anyone no if there are any penalties for freezing my pension for a few months? im considering stopping it for 6 months max to help me save the money towards a new car but not sure if i will be hit by anything for doing it. ie losing my final salary etc ive been with the company for 7 years in april any help would be appreciated!
