Unless you are already in the old pension there is nothing you can do at the moment as far as I understand it. There is a new pension which will be starting in Apr 2009 but everyone wishing to enter it has to do at least 12 months with Royal Mail before they can join.

I'd give it a second thought if I was you . So far we've got to work five years more for less payout. Still no news on our magnificent fightback and it's mind numbing success :silenced Baited breath; or it could be a sellout :shhhhh

I remember just before xmas that Dave Ward said on national telly that we were about to defend the pension. Pigs might fly. :roll:

The new pension arrangements are crap,but the RM scheme is still good value compared to a personal pension.
