BOLTON North-east MP David Crausby is backing postal workers in a dispute over pensions.

Royal Mail has replaced its final salary scheme with one based on average career earnings and raised the retirement age from 60 to 65.

The Communications Workers Union has fought the changes but talks have stalled.

Mr Crausby said: “Any settlement must be at least as good as elsewhere in the public sector, in protecting existing members’ rights and giving hope for reasonable pensions to new workers.”

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
