Recently, a colleague of mine has become aware of a shortfall in his NEST pension fund. It seems that the amount NEST are saying he has paid in to his pension, and the amount RM are saying he has paid in, are entirely different.
He was recently due to retire at 66. However, he has delayed his retirement whilst the discrepancy is investigated. The union cannot help, as the pension is nothing to do with RM.
He has employed the services of a solicitor. Please check your NEST pension in order to ensure things are in good order.

If he gets no joy from Nest, he should get the Pensions Ombudsman involved.
