Taking Benefits Early?

Post by NorthernBoy »

I am planning on taking all my benefits early this year at age 55. (NRA 60 & 65)

Do I need to contact both RMPP and Capita separately to start the process or if I contact RMPP will they sort it with capita.

Thanks

As far as I'm aware the RMPP get in touch with the RMSPS for you.

i have recently done this, you ring rmpp and tell them you want to have your figures as you are nearly 55 and you want them to send out the paperwork. Apparently you can also request this online now to. Rmpp send you your paperwork and they contact capita to request your paperwork to. i think it was a week before both came through, you can ring rmpp for help to fill it in . I get mine this month, i have taken all of it.

Thanks for the info. Sounds like they are quick in getting the figures back to you.

Did 21 tears, left a few years back. Now work for just above minimum wage in another crappy job. Am hoping to reduce my hours once I get my pension for a better work life balance.
