On the advice of Robert T I phoned capita about a pension query that they resolved. I then asked the guy as I'm in receipt of my nra 60 pension how do I know the pension transferred in from my previous employer and a years service i bought in the nineties is included as they stopped showing it on illustrations
He said they just never put them in the illustrations but it was a legal obligation for them to include them in my pension benefits when paid.
I've no idea how to work out if he's right but he a bit defensive. Any thoughts would be welcome. I know I should have considered it earlier but a previous post from someone got my attention

Re: Transferred in pension query
According to my last proper RMSPS statement, any transferred in pension or years bought via Addplan is included in the figures.
So if you've kept your previous statements, particularly the last one with those benefits detailed separately and the first one without, you should be able to tell if they're included.

Re: Transferred in pension query
I'm thoroughly enjoying my retirement.
Talking to a few of my old colleagues recently and hearing the madness that goes on in my old DO, I think I left at a good time.
