I will be 65 in Feb 2025 I have my pension figures ,but have been informed that the DBC lump sum is payable 16 weeks after my 65 birthday ,a four month wait ? Why the wait does anyone have any info on this question ?

If you select the option to take some of your cash balance as your tax free cash then this should be paid with your pension. I believe that it is any left over cash balance money that is paid as a UFPLS that is paid out after 16 weeks.
