Pension supplement

Post by comeracing »

I had a few weeks leave about 2 months ago my pension from my wages was just over £27 , I had a week off last week and my supplement has gone up to nearly £31, so my take home pay is a bit less now , but I'm paying more into the pension, can anyone shed any light on this, is this a good thing for your long term pension , why is more getting taken out ?

It isn't a supplement. It's your pension payment, by the sound of it. Were you in section C of the pension before the Collective scheme came in? If so, the LEL was scrapped. This means your pension contribution went up, as did everyone elses, if they were in section C.
