Remaining Avc payment
I figure I'm due about 10% payment from my ACV that was paid out end of October. I know they don't pay the full amount straight away which is understandable. Anyone know how long the process takes ? I'm still paying extra pension every week. What happens to the AVC ? Is it closed completely or just carrying on ?

Re: Remaining Avc payment
It sounds as if you've taken just your NRA60 pension?
From previous posts on here, they often pay 90% of your AVC pot upfront, and then the remaining 10% about 12 weeks afterwards.
When working out your lump sum, I assume they'll use the balance as of a certain date.
Any further AVC payments from then on, will continue to build up and they can be taken with NRA65 or transferred out.
As long as you're an active member of the RMPP and paying into the DBCBS, you can also pay AVC's.

Re: Remaining Avc payment
I wrote. To Rmsps and they say the final amount that has been paid was correct. Now they told me to write to RMPP which I have but I thought RMSPS dealt with AVC at 60 ? Now I'm confused ( yet again ). Only because I hear other people have had a pay out after about 12 weeks

I just assume I am £1,500 short . That it'll be added to the next pay out at 65. Maybe. Maybe not. The annual statement from Scottish Widows make no sense at all.
