If i recall correctly RM/CWU agreed on a payment for £900 towards financial advise costs when retireing. Im asking for a friend as to how he should go about applying for this if it is indeed still going.

As far as I know it is still available and should be automatically paid, as long as certain conditions are met, although this is RM so who knows?

It's a taxable £750 and payable when taking your NRA65 and leaving RM employment, and while the DBCBS is in operation:

It might be an idea for your friend to contact HR to ensure they know he is leaving, so that they know that he's aware of this payment(assuming he meets the criteria).

There is still a payment but you have to apply for your NRA65 when you leave. I'm not entitled to it because I'm not having my pensions paid until October, so if you retire at 65 you should get it.

Hi You need to have taken your NRA65 and left Royal Mail
if you have not left Royal Mail within 16 weeks of taking your NRA65 you are not entitled to it
