Has anyone who recently left received the pension supplement ?
My first full month pension payment after I left wasn't increased , so I emailed them about 10 days ago , and Capita haven't replied.

Also how do you tell HMRC you no longer intend working , so that you stop paying tax in the current year , or do I wait till year end and get a rebate ?
I tried doing this via the government gateway but couldn't see how.

It'll probably take them a few months, but it should then be backdated.

Phone them up and it should be sorted sooner, or wait and they'll correct it in due course.

Having the same issue on receiving pension supplement, i took vr and left on 13 may, i have rang capita twice since then asking when do i start receiving the supplement, was told it is been dealt with, will get back on to them if it dosen't appear in this months pension payment.

Ring HMRC, expect to spend an hour on waiting, they did help when I eventually spoke to some one.

I took part of my pension when I was 55 ,when I got the paperwork for this the supplement was mentioned around £1000 a year, but when I rang Crapita to start the process to claim the rest of my pension the drone said I wasn't entitled to any supplement at all, I've since had a letter off Crapita informing me I'm now a deferred pension and the paper work which was for the 65 pension only mentions a pension supplement of £70 a year, where's my £1000 pension supplement disappeared to?

The supplement is paid to section C members when they've left RM employment and taken their pension, and until state pension age. You should get a supplement for both NRA60 and NRA65 pensions.

It's not clear from what you've said, but it sounds like you were still employed by RM at the time of taking your NRA60? In which case you weren't entitled to the NRA60 supplement at the time. But now you've left, you should be.

I have contacted Capita over last 3 months via email and phone calls asking if I was to leave RM and currently in receipt of my NRA60 what would value of my NRA60 Supplement be. From you don’t get a supplement until you take your NRA65 to we can’t work out for anyone that phones an approximate value of your NRA60 supplement I seem to be getting nowhere. Capita never replied to any emails so phoning them on this matter seemed to be the best way to actually get a reply if not a clear one.

Capita are useless
Their standard of performance are unacceptable and a disgrace to be honest
The sooner they lose the contract the better

How does the supplement work if you leave say , six months after your 60th. For example I was quoted £2000 supplement if I went at 60. If I left at 60 and 6 months would I get £1000 , and would that be then paid monthly from then on ? It's frightening hearing others experiences having problems getting it. £2000 a year from 60 to 67 is no small change.

I give them a ring for the third time yesterday, I left royal mail on 13 may, was told it will appear the next time I receive my pension, fingers crossed.

I would taking them to the small claims and getting the bailiffs down to their office to seize assets if they don't turn up for money owed only just to get their attention and speed up the process.

Have you both been through the complaints procedure?

If going through the normal channels doesn't work, you can make a formal complaint to both RMSPS and RMPP. If that doesn't get what you want, you can then go to the Pensions Ombudsman.

Although I once had problems with the PSC, and a stern letter to the trustees was enough to sort things out!

Got letter from capita confirming the payment of supplement with my pension at the end of the month, also any back dated money since I left the company. By the time I receive the supplement it would be four and half months since I left.
